Op-Ed: Music video for Emily

This guy might not be the best singer, but he is certainly a romantic. He sings over 'Everything I Do' by Bryan Adams to the girl he loves, Emily, and he's getting pretty popular on YouTube.

The video is going semi-viral on YouTube - it was posted on June 19, 2012, and has had almost 360,000 views, 3,719 likes and 412 dislikes, so he must be doing something right. In various scenarios, he sings to Emily, using the song "Everything I do" by Bryan Adams. He doesn't lip-sync, he sings - a little tunelessly, but whatever, its romantic! In the description section, THASSLEHOFF writes: "Alright [sic], here is the deal, I made this music video for Emily, who you know I love if you watch my vlog. This is the full version, every clip is in it. I know it sucks, I can't sing very well. I gave Emily a copy of this before posting it, she liked it, and that is the point. I hope you like it if you view it, I put a lot of work in. Credit was given where credit was due." Looking through the comments, the story behind this video comes clear, as THASSLEHOFF comments: "We aren't dating though. She isn't allowed to date, plain and simple. She doesn't want to behind her parents' backs, and I respect that." We must just hope for his sake that one day the couple will be able to get together and it won't be a case on unrequited love.
