A man who was born a woman, Luke Anderson, 31, has been crowned the winner of Big Brother UK. Anderson said it was great to feel accepted.
According to
Belfast Telegraph, Anderson won the £50,000 prize. He appeared to be in shock when he emerged as the winner.
Anderson, who was born a woman and started treatment to change his sex about four years ago, ended up receiving the most votes from the British public, ahead of Adam Kelly, a former gang member from Los Angeles.
According to
Mirror, Anderson's victory comes on the same day as his wedding anniversary. When Anderson made his way out to the stage, he was eventually greeted by his wife, after not seeing her for 70 days.
According to
Daily Mail, Anderson was questioned about his friendship with runner-up Adam. He said that if it was not for Adam he would have been all alone in the house. He also said that Adam was a good guy and he was genuine.
Adam also gave an interview and he said he was happy for Luke. Adam was also questioned about the prize money, and he said that he has been broke before so it did not matter that he did not win the money.
