Noah Masse is just a year old but he's in the fight of his life. The little boy from the United States has a malignant brain tumor diagnosed on July 5. His dad is singing on YouTube in order to pay for his treatment.
Mike Masse
is a Utah public defender and musician. He has gone to YouTube in an effort to get his son the best treatment and keep his family afloat as they fight against Noah's cancer.
The family thought Noah had a stomach bug but were told instead of a common ailment the infant had a brain tumour early last month. Noah had surgery on July 6 at Primary Children's Medical Center but only half of the tumour was able to be removed. Noah had crashed and was able to be revived but the surgery had to end. Since then Noah has undergone several other surgeries. His hospital bills are already in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Noah has started to take chemotherapy to fight against the aggressive cancer. Masse told ABC4 in Utah that the survival rates are not great for the type of cancer Noah is battling.
In a nation that sends money to save children around the world Noah's family has to sing to pay for the treatments that could save his life. Something just isn't right about that.
