It's being reported that after seven years of unwed bliss and six kids Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are tying the knot this weekend at their French estate.
Saturday is the 50th anniversary for Bill and Jane Pitt, Brad's parents. His son and Jolie are throwing them a big bash at their French home but locals are saying that there could be two weddings to be celebrated.
In the past
Jolie and Pitt have said they would not wed until everyone including same-sex couples could legally wed in the United States. According to media reports the couple's kids have been pushing mom and dad to get hitched just like their cartoon heroes Shrek and Fiona.
"We've explained to them that our commitment, when we decided to start a family, was the greatest commitment you could possibly have,"
Jolie said recently during an interview with ABC News. "Once you have six children, you're committed."
Even if the
wedding doesn't take place the Jolie-Pitt place will be party central this weekend with guests like George Clooney and jewelry designer Robert Procop arriving.
According to
Perez Hilton though if the nuptials do take place unless the couple says "I do" at town hall it's not a legal ceremony under French law.
