In a shooting incident at a Dothan, AL nightclub, three people have died and one is injured. The alleged shooter has been arrested.
The suspect, 22-year-old Ryan Clark Peterson of Enterprise, AL was apparently kicked out of the Teaser's strip club, just before midnight on Thursday for "acting inappropriately with one of the employees."
He allegedly left the club, and went to his car to get his gun. Investigators say that he then returned to the club and opened fire, killing three people and injuring one more.
Peterson fled the scene, and after a seven hour search across rural Alabama, police have arrested him and consider him a suspect in the shooting rampage at the nightclub. He was arrested in a wooded area, approximately 100 miles outside of Montgomery, just after 7 am on Friday.
Officers told the media shortly after they apprehended Peterson that they had caught the suspect, but that he had not immediately been questioned, as he was still under the influence of alcohol. On checking out his record, it seems he was arrested at least once before this year and charged with third-degree theft of property.
Peterson has since been charged with three capital murders and attempted murder.
The names of the deceased have been released and they are Cameron Eubanks, 20, son of the club's owner; Tiffany Grissett, 31, Dale County; and Thomas Robins, 59, of Dothan, a patron at the club.
The injured victim was named as Scotty Russell, 33, of Opp, another patron at the club, who was shot in the arm and is believed to have non-life threatening injuries.
