Temuco - One of the latest aww-worthy photos to go viral online focus on a German Shepherd reportedly saving her puppies from a house fire in Chile. The photos show Amanda gripping her pups in her jaws and placing them on a fire truck.
According to one media report, Amanda noticed a house fire and "picked the pups up in her mouth and moved them from the burning house to the safety of the nearby fire truck. She then gently placed the pups on the steps of the fire-truck as firefighters fought the blaze."
Amanda and her babies were taken to the veterinarian, but one puppy named Amparo, who suffered severe burns, later died.
The photos have soared across the Web, thanks to the online community reddit, where the pics of the pups reached the coveted front page this afternoon. It's attracted more than 4,3000 "votes" and 540 comments.

Some reddit users question the accuracy of the story. A man claiming to be a Chilean firefighter says commenters on this article state firefighters rescued the dog and her pups.
The photos depict Amanda gripping her dogs in her mouth and placing them on the fire truck, but it's still unclear if she carried all the pups from the emblazoned house. The state of the house has also not been confirmed.
