Sherwood - A randy bull attempted to mate with a man who was leading him across a yard in rural Arkansas. The bull escaped and ran loose for some time, damaging a police car arriving at the scene of the bizarre incident.
The Log Cabin Democrat reports that sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Jade Lane in Sherwood after callers reported a bull running loose in the area. A deputy arrived at a home and observed a man leading a bull through a yard and slapping the animal on the head.
According to the police report, the bull then mounted the man and "tried to mate with him." The animal pinned him against the sheriff's patrol car, causing slight damage to the vehicle.
The bull then apparently lost interest in the man and began following a truck down the road. The man was not injured and did not give his name or other information to the deputy.
Two other men eventually caught the bull and led it to a nearby pasture. The owner of the animal, who said he'd never escaped before, was informed that he may be liable for the damage to the patrol car.
The incident was quite the opposite of one reported here on Digital Journal last week in which an Indonesian teen was forced to marry a cow he was caught having sex with.
