Grammy award winner Sheryl Crow has been granted a temporary restraining order against an obsessed fan who threatened to kill her.
The crazed fan is Phillip Gordon Sparks, according to Perez Hilton. Sparks harassment continued to grow since April. Since then he has gone on Facebook and posted around several profanity-laced rants accusing Crow of taking his money and even breaking into his home. Sparks also said that she filmed him.
According to Huffington Post, Sparks, 45, is now ordered to stay away 100 yards away from Crow and ordered to not contact her, her family or people who work for her.Crow wrote in a sworn statement that is is scared of Sparks because of his behavior and the claims that he has made against her.
According to E, Crow says that all of the claims that Sparks has made against her are false. Crow said that she decided it was time to take action against Sparks because she heard that he went to the SAG office recently and told someone there that he would just shoot her.
On August 14 a hearing will take place to see whether or not the temporary order will become permanent.
