American Idol runner up Jessica Sanchez was visibly overwhelmed with the huge crowd gathered at the Mall of Asia in Manila where she appeared live on Skype feed as she interacts with adoring fans Sunday night.
Sanchez, who is currently on a nationwide US concert tour along with the Top 10 finalists of the American Idol season 11 series, greeted her fans in the Philippines and looks forward to seeing them soon.
After the US concert tour, Sanchez and the Top 10 finalists will hold a concert at the Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines on September 21 to cap the post season 11 US concert tour.
“I’m not even there and there’s so many people there watching right now... It’s crazy, guys,” she said during the Skype Party presentation.
“You're the best. You guys are amazing. You've been there for me, I’m here for you, I love you, guys. Thank you,” she said.
The young and talented singing sensation told her fans she has been "pushing for the world tour to end up in Manila, I can't wait to see you all.” she said via ABC CBN News.
Sanchez, who grew up in Chula Vista, California to a Filipino mother and Mexican-American father has been looking forward to visit her mother's home country and to meet her relatives on her mother side.
“You guys inspire me. It's crazy! I'm so excited to see you guys,” she told her fans who attended the SKYPE Party.
Meanwhile, the search for the replacement of resigned judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler is about to end with the official announcement of the selection of popular singer Mariah Carey, who will replace Jennifer Lopez as the new judge for season 12.
Also being seriously considered to replace Steven Tyler is popular country singer Brad Paisley, who is meeting with American Idol officials over the weekend in Los Angeles.
