Long Beach
-
While the rest of the United States shows temperatures in the 80s, 90s and 100s, the Pacific Northwest sports temps in the 60s. This, however, does not stop beachgoers at Washington's famed Long Beach.
Although Long Beach may not be as toured as California's Laguna Beach, South Carolina's Myrtle Beach or the Florida's Daytona Beach, it is still a popular destination among beachgoers in the U.S.
People come with their wives, kids, dogs or by themselves. All of them leave having had a good time. Some swim in the cool Pacific Ocean waters while others just walk the sand, collecting seashells and taking pictures.
