Clowning around: 4th Annual Clown Congress in Guatemala City

Guatemala City - The Fourth Annual Clown Congress has taken off in Guatemala City and its generating loads of smiles, as 200 clowns get together and have fun.

All serious matters are put on hold once a year in Latin America, when the annual Clown Congress is held. The streets are filled with colorful characters, wearing floppy shoes, spinning bow ties and great big red noses.

A whole army of clowns from Central and South America and the Caribbean have teamed up for the latest Annual Clown Congress, this year hosted in Guatemala City. It definitely makes for a very different procession in the streets!
