Sofya's father filmed the spider tot's antics and uploaded the footage to YouTube. Now more than 220,000 viewers have watched the video; with father Peter surprised at the worldwide attention the video has received. US television companies and interested parties from around the world have attempted to contact Peter, which he describes as "very strange and bizarre."
The youngster from Loughborough in the East Midlands region of England, describes the manoeuvre as enjoyable and not at all scary. The video was only uploaded to YouTube by Peter after he and his wife were amazed by the youngster's physical skills.
The video is expected to gain hundreds of pounds in revenue which Mr Dickson said he would donate to a children's charity, Save The Children
. He has received endless phone calls from around the world and told the BBC
how surprised he was at all the sensation:
Almost quarter of a million people have watched the video of my daughter climbing the wall, It's a little bit bizarre and I'm getting phone calls from America and it's all very strange to be honest. I had a lot of comments saying you should take her to the local rock climbing centre, so I might give them a call and see if they would let a three-year-old through the door.
The Daily Telegraph
reports, Sofya would propel herself up the door frame while determinedly repeating "I can do it, I can do it!" to herself.
