Jean-Yves Blondeau is the inventor of the 31-wheel roller suit. Today he proved its worth by rolling down 99 curves and zigzags on China's Tianmen Mountain.
Known as the French "Rollerman", Blondeau, 42, is famous for his skating speed record of 110 kilometers an hour.
His famous roller suit has 10 parts, which include a helmet, kneepads, armguards and protective wear.
Blondeau specially prepared two suits for the challenge on the central Chinese mountain, to ensure the success of his stunt.
One of his suits is blue and featured 32 wheels for increased speed. The other is golden and boasts broader wheel treads for better control.
In the video you can see Blondeau traversing the Tongtian (sky-ascending) Avenue. While this avenue is only 10.77 kilometers in length, 1,000 meters separate the elevations of the starting point from the finishing line.
His journey was also composed of 99 sharp bends, and most paths stretch along steep cliffs.
A crazy stunt indeed, but he did it!
