Aurora - An eyewitness to the mass shooting that occurred during a Colorado theater screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" last night has told reporters that there were multiple people involved in the massacre.
In a video interview, the eyewitness explained to 9 News Denver that, based on the way the crisis unfolded, the shooter had help inside the theater.
"From what we saw, he wasn't alone," the survivor said, referring to the masked gunman. "He had someone with him, because the second can of tear gas didn't come from his side."
"We can only assume that someone got [the shooter] in, because whatever he was wearing seemed thick," the eyewitness added. "I think he would stand out in a crowd."
Although Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates told CNN that that there was no evidence of a second gunman at the scene, the Atlantic is reporting that law enforcement is still trying to determine if the shooter acted alone.
