Muskegon - A Michigan teenager drove her grandmother's car on top of another vehicle at the parking mall of the Lakes Mall in Muskegon. The incident happened while the girl's grandmother was shopping in the mall.
The girl got behind the wheel and drove her grandmother's car into a tree, hit a utility pole and two other vehicles before driving the car on top of another.
The video shows the car lying on top of another car at an angle in the parking lot.
WoodTV reports nobody was injured in the accident but the girl was taken to the hospital after she suffered a panic attack.
The Daily Mail reports a witness, Kaily Sharp, said, "I couldn't even... my first question was, 'How could that even happen?'" She said: "It's not everyday that you see a car on top of two other cars like that... it's crazy."
WoodTV reports the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday outside the Lakes Mall in Muskegon. The girl was waiting in the car, listening to the radio, while her grandmother was in Bed, Bath and Beyond. She got behind the wheel probably because she was bored after a long wait in the car.
One of the cars she hit had a smashed windscreen. The roof and bonnet of another was damaged and third car had its side mirror destroyed.
According to the Daily Mail, Rosemary Weigel, owner of the one of the cars, said: "A car on top of my car... How does something like that happen?"
Jalopnik.com reports that both the girl and her grandmother will likely face charges. The grandmother left the keys in the car.
Fruitport Township Public Safety Director, Ken Doctor, said: "I am sure it was a lesson learned by both."
