Fred Willard, an aging comedian who was a household name in the 1980s and 90s, was arrested by LAPD after police allegedly caught him with his pants down in an adult movie theater, according to a TMZ report.
Police say LAPD undercover vice officers went into the Tiki Theater in Hollywood and found the 78-year-old "Anchorman" star watching the facilities feature attraction with his penis exposed and in his hand, according to the report.
Willard was arrested around 8:45PM, Wednesday, and booked for lewd conduct and was out of police custody a short while later.
Fred was watching one of three features that were in rotation at the theater that included "Follow Me 2," a XXX parody of "The Client List," and "Step Dad No. 2."
Willard is best known for his roles in "Best in Show", "For Your Consideration", "American Wedding" and "Everybody Loves Raymond."
Willard is "rumored" to be in pre-production for a movie entitled "The Yank," which is a comedy.
LAPD vice officers were conducting a “random walk through” of the premises as opposed to a raid. Adult theaters in the area must agree to allow cops in whenever they want to inspect for illegal activities. There is even a sign posted in front warning customers that the theater is "viewed by LAPD."
The theater also warns, "No Alcohol, No Weapons, No smoking inside" ... and no pets.
