Los Angeles - Julia Roberts, 44, according to sources has decided to shift to Hawaii, so that she can lead the life she wants – a simpler life with the family.
She loves surfing and given a chance she would want to surf the entire year. Hawaii is the destination she loves going every year with her husband and three kids. “She's considering moving to Hawaii, where her family vacations every year, so they can live off the land, bask in the sun and surf 365 days a year,” says National Enquirer magazine, quoting a source.
The actress, a health freak, has been into healthy eating for some time.
The actress is also keeping herself healthy these days. “but she got even more interested in it after deciding to lose the 10 pounds she gained while playing the Evil Queen in 'Mirror, Mirror',” according to the source.
Two years ago, Julia Roberts was in the news for being a practicing Hindu. Born in Georgia, part of the Bible Belt in the U.S, her parents were Baptist and Catholic. At the time, speaking to Elle magazine, she reportedly said, she goes to the Hindu temple to “chant, pray and celebrate”.
After a hugely successful stint in Hollywood and an Oscar, she took to Hinduism while shooting for the movie ‘Eat, Pray and Love’. Her character in the movie is that of a divorcee, who goes to Italy for food, to India for Spirituality, and finally discovers her love at Bali. Roberts also believes in reincarnation.
Although her decision to move the family to Hawaii is not yet final, those close to her family claim that she’s much happier when she is living back to basics. “She's turning into a real hippy. She really believes she's much happier and healthier living down on the farm,” the source added.
