An upstate New York man has been arrested and accused of inappropriately touching and licking young girls' feet in a public library.
WHAM reports that 49-year-old Anthony Perri was apprehended in Penfield, east of Rochester, on Tuesday. Parri was arraigned on sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child charges.
Police allege that Perri removed a young girl's shoe and fondled her foot. WROC reports that court documents allege Perri rubbed the child's foot against his nose and mouth.
The incident is similar to five others in Penfield and neighboring Brighton in which a male suspect allegedly licked the feet of girls aged 5-10.
Police are investigating whether Perri, who has two prior convictions for attempted murder and assault, was involved in those incidents.
Gawker reports that Perri shouted that he was being framed as he entered court for his arraignment.
