In odd U.K. news, a herd of cows strolled through a neighborhood on Sunday in the early morning hours. A resident caught the episode on video.
According to Metro, the cows escaped from a nearby field and took a morning walk through a North Yorkshire neighborhood.
The cows walked down the street, through lawns and trampled on gardens. James Lee, 20, one of the neighborhood's residents filmed the bizarre occurrence and uploaded it on YouTube, titled "Live Cattle On The Rampage In Harrogate, 6am!"
In the video you can hear the hooves against the pavement and the "moos" of the cows before they appear, then the herd of cows emerges into view with dozens of cows in a variety of sizes and colors trotting through the neighborhood.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reported Lee said the cows began coming through about 6 a.m. and wandered around for about five minutes.
"It was a quite a confusing sight to wake up to, very odd and extremely surreal to see at that point in the morning," Lee said. ‘When I heard the noise I first thought it was a family member in the house snoring but then I took a look outside."
No serious damage was reportedly caused by the cows' adventure.
"I know they came from a field about a mile away from here but I’m not sure whose cows they are," Lee added. "They came up the alleyway, spent five minutes on the road and then went back again."
Lee, who can be heard chuckling in the video, noted other residents were amused as well.
