Police took a 29-year-old Brunswick man into protective custody Friday night after they found him at the bottom of a portable toilet on a disc golf course in River Road.
According to Deputy Police Chief Marc Hagan, they received report shortly before 6 p.m., that a naked man had gone berserk and was causing disturbance at Enman Disc Golf course.
NBC Connecticut reports the man was rolling in mud, tipping over trash can and sitting on the disc goals.
At first, police could not find him, but after a search they found a backpack containing clothing. A police dog was called that traced him to a portable toilet.
Bangor Daily News reports that after the man refused to respond to orders to come out from the bottom of the toilet, Brunswick fire personnel were forced to fetch him out. They placed flexible handcuffs on him, sprayed him down and took him to Mid Coast Hospital, Bangor Daily News reports.
