When the PAAFTJ decided to organize an awards show one must wonder if anybody tried to stop them. Let's stop right there for a minute.
The PAAFTJ is the Pan-American Association of Film & Television Journalists and they did announce the winners of the inaugural PAAFTJ awards recently.
It's nice to have awards, but when is enough simply enough? This latest attempt named its winners and although many seem admirable and a bit different, there is still that nagging question that remains - why?
A couple other questions pop us as well? For example, why so many nominations in certain fields, and if a show just aired, should it be qualified to be nominated? Those answers will come down the line; as with any new adventure, the kinks need to be ironed out. Or in this case, just stopped right now. For that complete list of nominations, head here and take a look.
On that note, the Emmy nominations will be announced July 19, and the Teen Choice Awards will be handed out July 22.
