Ghazni - A bus has been hit by a bomb on Sunday morning in Afghanistan's Ghanzi province. Five people were killed and eleven were injured.
The passenger bus was ferrying people from Kabul to the southern city of Kandahar in Afghanistan this morning, when the explosion occurred.
According to Deputy Provincial Police Chief Maj. Mohammad Hussain, five civilians were killed and eleven were wounded in the blast, with women and children reportedly among the dead. Doctors at the local hospital, Baz Mohammad Hemat have confirmed the number of victims.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack which occurred near the city of Ghazni, but it is thought to be the work of the Taliban.
