Lemon Inc., developed an app called the Smarter Wallet. It scans everything from credit/debit cards, drivers licenses, receipts and shopper cards.
Perks of the Lemon.com Wallet include scanning an unlimited number of receipts and cards, receiving special offers from favorite shops, protecting your wallet with a PIN number, and using your Lemon.com Wallet without an Internet connection. Plus, you will have all of your cards with you if you lose your wallet or leave it at home.
There's also a pro plan for about $10/month or $100/year. That plan has features like exporting data, sharing expenses, having in-depth receipts, no ads, etc.
Another good thing about this app is that it helps you budget your spending. You can easily see how much you are spending on gas, groceries, etc.
The downside is that if someone steals your phone, they can see your purchasing history. Luckily, they will not be able to see your credit cards numbers, since they will be asked to enter a pin number.
Another downside is that you cannot scan your whole receipt at once. If your receipt is very long, like most of them are, then you have to scan the bottom portion as well. Technically, "scanning a receipt" in this app is more like taking a picture of the receipt. However, the app can still detect the total amount on the receipt and what store the receipt came from.
If you are looking for a way to digitalize your wallet, I definitely recommend this app.
