A 21-year-old Czech girl who allegedly spent hours smoking super-strength marijuana climbed a 40ft electricity pylon while hallucinating that it was a bridge.
Locals watched in horror as the girl Zlin, tried to cross the Morava river by walking along the cable of the electricity pylon. The police were called to the scene and they rescued the girl.
According to police spokesman Jan Macalikova,"It was a nightmare because she was very much under the influence of drugs and wasn't making much sense. She was convinced, though, that the pylon was a bridge across the Morava river."
Daily Mail reports that drug counselors and police officers who arrived at the scene managed to convince her it was not a bridge. They got her down from the pylon after she had been hanging on to it for two hours.
MSN Now reports authorities say she was not hurt.
The police spokesman said: "She received treatment at hospital for her drugs consumption but was otherwise unhurt. She's lucky she didn't get a new high - high voltage."
The Huffington Post reports that online jokes about the incident spoke of the girl as been "high" while "high" near "high" voltage
