ABC Action News reported the attack by Charles Baker occurred in Manatee County Florida on Wednesday evening.
The 26 year-old Baker was reported by residents at the home of his girlfriend to have entered the home after he arrived to visit his children. On entering the home, he started yelling and ripping his clothes off. At that point Jeffery Blake, who lives in the house, attempted to stop Baker from throwing furniture around in the house.
Authorities reported Baker was high on an unknown substance. In the process of restraining Baker, Blake was bitten on the bicep where tooth marks and a bruise were left on his arm.
Blake was able however, to hold Baker down on the ground until deputies arrived.
Deputy Wildt reportedly tasered Baker multiple times but Baker pulled the probes out each time. Baker was tasered four times reports WTSP from Tampa Bay.
Blake, who was bitten, is the children's grandfather with whom the children live.
It required more deputies to finally get Baker under control and handcuffed.
Manatee County Sheriff's spokesman Dave Bristow was quoted: "We took him to the hospital. He was on marijuana and had opiates in his system; opiates probably being some sort of painkiller," says Dave Bristow...... He continued, "That doesn't really add up to such bizarre behavior though."
At his first court appearance today, Baker told a Manatee County judge: "I don't got nothing. My daddy just committed suicide that was only person I had. Everyone else turn back on me I just went there to see my kids,"
Baker's father, Charles Baker Sr. had reportedly murdered Kevin Parillo and committed suicide afterward.
