article imageSecurity Guard beaten to death at Sydney shopping centre

By Richard Milnes     Jun 18, 2012 in Crime
Sydney - Sixty-eight-year-old Hans Schulz was allegedly punched and kicked as he tried to prevent a break in at Wendy’s kiosk at Broadway Shopping Centre, about 2kms from the centre of Sydney. Sunday, 17 June 2012, about 8pm.
According to the Herald Sun he was taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Two people have been charged with manslaughter: a 28-year-old Maroubra woman and a 33-year-old Randwick man. One woman is still on the run.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that they were arrested at a George Street bus stop near the shopping centre shortly after. However, it is likely that they meant Broadway, a street, which runs alongside the Broadway Shopping Centre and leads into George Street (about 1km further down).
