article imageOp-Ed: Obama offers testy retort to heckling reporter

By Gar Swaffar     Jun 15, 2012 in Politics
The President and current Regime Master of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave responded to the Daily Caller reporter and heckler in a mildly testy fashion.
The President spoke today, to let the American public know, that he had ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Regime Puppet Janet Napolitano, to suspend all deportation proceedings against a select group of illegal immigrants. During the speech in the Rose Garden, one reporter from the daily Caller had the temerity to interrupt the President mid-speech.
The reporter, Neil Munro, was indeed guilty of assaulting the decorum of the proceedings while the President was appealing to a new constituency base.
The President made certain his new voter base understood the order given to DHS was not the be-all and end-all solution he is working toward.
The President, in his remarks, offered in video form at the Weekly Standard, made certain to note that his order is only a "temporary, stopgap measure". That comment came after stating that the order to DHS was not, amnesty, a path to citizenship, nor is it a permanent fix.
Quoted at Fox News, Mr. Obama stated: “I’ve said this time and again to Congress,” the president said at the Rose Garden press conference. “Send me the DREAM Act, put it on my desk, and I’ll sign it.” Which makes it clear what the President believes the job of Congress is, which is to author the bills which President Obama wants to sign into law.
Unfortunately for the President and quite a few on the Far Left Fringe, Congresspersons of all persuasions, on occasion, see their job as representing The People of the nation, not simply rubber-stamping the desires of a narcissistic man/child with delusions of grandeur.
Although, in all honesty, it is possible that the denizens of the Washington D.C. swamp, or cesspool, known as Congress, simply didn't realize the Regime Master was so serious about having the Dream Act bundled up and sent to his desk, so as to cement his relationship with the illegal immigrant community.
Now that His Majesties needs have been made clear, by what some suggest is an end run around the legitimate business of only Congress, all the pieces will fall into place for the November election.
“This is another example of executive overreach,” Florida GOP Rep. Allen West told Fox News.
West said he just learned about the policy change Friday morning and that such a move should have come through legislation on Capitol Hill where it could be debated.
“That’s how we do business in the United States,” said West, R; Fla.
Perhaps Representative West didn't hear President Obama tell the reporter "I didn't ask for an argument"
But never fear, for the time being at least, the President just finished buying another 800,000 +/- illegal immigrants loyalty.
