As the Daily Caller
brags on its front page with its version about what actually happened in the Rose Garden today, we get this statement from the publisher.
Neil Patel, Publisher: “The President today announced a very controversial policy and does not want to answer tough questions about it. Neil Munro is a veteran Washington reporter who today tried his best to time his question to be first as the President was wrapping up his remarks. He in no way meant to heckle the President of the United States.”
See? He wasn't being rude. He was just trying to time his question. Good lad, that Munro!
Tucker Carlson, Editor-in-Chief: “I don’t remember Diane Sawyer scolding her colleague Sam Donaldson for heckling President Reagan. And she shouldn’t have. A reporter’s job is to ask questions and get answers. Our job is to find out what the federal government is up to. Politicians often don’t want to tell us. A good reporter gets the story. We’re proud of Neil Munro.”
Tucker Carlson. Bow-tie wearing poncy little conservative whose chief claim to fame is being totally torn to pieces by Jon Stewart during a CNN interview when Carlson had a REAL job.
Tucker. Name one time Sam Donaldson shouted out a question while Reagan was making a statement to the press at large. One time, Tucker. Provide a single example. And be very, very proud of the laughing stock your already laughable right wing mullet wrapper has become. Andrew Breitbart is dead, Tucker. And your little bow-tie wearing, pencil necked, narrow hind end will not be able to fill the void he left in the right wing nut-o-sphere.
Neil Munro, White House Correspondent: “I always go to the White House prepared with questions for our president. I timed the question believing the president was closing his remarks, because naturally I have no intention of interrupting the President of the United States. I know he rarely takes questions before walking away from the podium. When I asked the question as he finished his speech, he turned his back on the many reporters, and walked away while I and at least one other reporter asked questions.
You thought he was done
? The man who gave an hour-long speech yesterday when 15-minutes would have done the trick? You thought he was wrapping up his remarks. Watch the tape, Neil, and you tell me at which point does it sound
like President Obama is "wrapping up."
And consider the lie posed in the front page headline. Obama did not ignore
the question. He answered
it, after scolding the reporter for interrupting him. The reporter did not like
the answer? Go cry on Tucker's little bow tie.
If either of the three of you were capable of feeling shame, you would do the proper Japanese thing and slit your bellies, after getting the President's permission, of course, which he would deny because he would condemn you to live with your shame.
But you are not capable of shame. Or any other human emotion, other than hatred, prejudice, bigotry and homophobia.
But, they are playing to their audience as a look at the comments shows. I have been banned from commenting on the site because I don't much care for the taste of Carlson's cloaca.
seems to like it just fine.
this POTUS doesn't respect the people, the Constitution, nor the Republic. I, for one, am done respecting him just because of his office. I'd shout him down if I could, anything to get a straight answer out of him. He hits with these jaw-droppers like today's announcement, then takes no questions.. eventually he will of course, from a select group of friendlies, with pre-selected questions, and carefully crafted answers. He's worthless on every level I can think of.
is typical of the Daily Caller reader.
Obama was born in Kenya. We need to elect an American.
When the rare comment supported the president, "Republican 51"
You must be Mexican.
seems to enjoy that cloaca as well!
Obama does not earn, deserve, or warrant respect. He is a thug and a criminal.
Someone with the proud handle of "SickofLibTardObamabots"
shared this wisdom.
Congress has two houses dip5h1t. The House of Representatives, which was in Democrat control until 2010, and the Senate which is still Democrat controlled until this November.
Never mind the fact that the Senate Democratic advantage can not break a Republican filibuster. Never mind that the House and Senate from 2009-10 was full of Blue Dog Democrats that voted with Republicans and nothing could get done because these Blue Dogs hoped they would get reelected and were not. Never mind "reality".
And there are 94 pages of comments just like these.
These are your "patriotic Americans." These are your "tea party flag wavers." These are the people who are going to save America by voting against their own self-interest to turn the keys to the already damaged van back over to the drunks who wrapped it around the telephone pole in the first place!
Our friends reading this in Canada and elsewhere in the world must truly wonder what happened to the "United
" States of America.
