Each year the best performances on any award show take place during The Tony Awards. This year was no different. Meanwhile, host Neil Patrick Harris is always good.
However, this is also the award show that is the least watched among the Big Four (The Emmys, Grammys, Oscars and Tonys).
Again, this year was no different. As for the big winner, it was "Once," which took home eight Tonys.
Nielsen notes it was the lowest rated Tony Award show ever. "It was down 17 percent from last year and ranking as the lowest rated Tonys ever," they said. The average viewership was 6 million. To read a story about what was performed, head here.
