Billy Connolly – the voice of King Fergus in the film – attended the premiere of Disney Pixar’s Brave at Event Cinemas, George Street, Sydney as part of the Sydney Film Festival.
Digital Journal was present at the gala premiere of Disney Pixar’s Brave, attended by Billy Connolly and other celebrities at Event Cinemas, 505-525 George Street, Sydney, Australia on Monday, 11 June 2012 (Queen’s Birthday Public Holiday).
It formed part of the Sydney Film Festival, which runs from 6-17 June 2012.
In the animated feature from Pixar, Billy Connolly is the voice of King Fergus and Emma Thompson is the voice of Queen Elinor. The story, which is set in the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland, follows the heroic journey of their daughter Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald). Merida is a skilled archer and headstrong, with striking red hair!

Australian actor Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, who starred in ‘Underbelly: Razor’ as Norman Bruhn, the era’s most feared stand over man.
Saskia Rosendahl, who plays Lore in the film Lore, by Australian director Cate Shortland.
Sophie Lowe who has starred in movies such as ‘Blessed’ and ‘Beautiful Kate’.
