Matthew McConaughey is now married

Matthew McConaughey and his model girlfriend, Camila Alves, are no longer just boyfriend and girlfriend. The couple has finally tied the knot.

The pair got married in Texas on Saturday. Camila, 30, is now the wife of Matthew McConaughey, 42. According to USA Today, around two dozen family members and friends attended the wedding. The event was described as a quiet affair. According to the HuffingtonPost, the couple did try to keep the nuptials quiet but there was talk about them getting married this weekend after the word got out late last week. Images taken from a helicopter showed that there were tents that were being set up on the property of the couple's home in Austin. Camila is from Brazil originally, and she is a handbag designer as well as a model, according to Reuters. The couple met back in 2006, at a Los Angeles bar. The couple announced their engagement on Christmas Day, 2011. McConaughey's latest film hits movie theaters at the end of June, and the film he will be in is called Magic Mike, where he will be playing a manager of a strip club.
