TMZ is reporting that Deongelo Holmes, aka D-Roc, of the rap duo Ying Yang Twins, was arrested on June 1 in Duluth, Georgia for a DUI and marijuana possession.
Holmes' eyes were "bloodshot and glazed" and his speech was "mumbled, slurred, and slow" according to the Gwinnett County police report, TMZ reports.
Police Cpl. Jake Smith told WSBTV Atlanta that Holmes had a 3-year old and 2-month old in his backseat. Marijuana and Xanax were also found in the car.
"When they're putting their children in danger also, it's completely unacceptable," Smith said.
Holmes was arrested immediately, but was "friendly and cooperative," the arresting officer said according Ballerstatus.com
The 33 year old rapper faces 7 charges including two counts of child endangerment, WSBTV Atlanta reports.
The Ying Yang Twins are best known for hit singles such as "Saltshaker," "Wait (The Whisper Song)," and "Whistle While You Twurk." They were also featured on Lil John's hit single "Get Low."
According to MTV News, last month, the rap duo made their own remix to Justin Bieber's hit single "Boyfriend."
