American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez will sing the National Anthem on June 9, when Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao collides with unbeaten American boxing sensation Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 16-year-old Filipino/Mexican-American singing sensation will sing before a live audience of more than 14,000 inside the MGM Grand Arena and to millions of viewers from around the world.
Jessica Sanchez and this season's American Idol winner Philip Philips have set a new record for having received 132 million votes from online TV viewers during the show finale held recently at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California
Sanchez has gained worldwide recognition for her singing talent honed from years of practice by joining amateur singing contests during her childhood.
The young and talented singer from Chula Vista in San Diego is scheduled to join the top winners of American Idol's eleventh season in a concert tour which is set to begin on July 6.
Audition for the next season of American Idol is set for June 7 at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
Pacquiao, who became an instant fan of Sanchez, has been supporting the young Fil-American singer in her quest for the top spot in the popular singing talent show.
Pacquiao is favored to win over Bradley on Saturday night as they clash for the WBO welterweight crown. But the Palm Springs boxing idol is confident he will dominate the fight and remain unbeaten in his professional career.
