article imageOp-Ed: Anti-war meeting at the House of Lords

By Alexander Baron     Jun 5, 2012 in Politics
London - On June 13, there will be a meeting at the House of Lords aimed at restoring diplomatic relations with Iran and halting the madmen who are trying to start World War III.
The meeting will be in Room 3A at the Palace of Westminster from 6pm to 8.30pm. If you come, be sure to get there early because it can take some time to be processed by the heavy security.
In the Chair will be Lord Nazir Ahmed; speaking will be veteran anti-war campaigner Dr James Thring one to oppose the motion, as the organisers said: “Speakers from the war lobby were invited but none have agreed to attend”.
This is hardly surprising, these people prefer to pull wires behind the scenes and spread lies in order to achieve their shoddy aims. It is an entirely different proposition to stand up in public and attempt to justify acts of cold-blooded mass murder including of women and children.
The talk will be followed by a discussion.
