A Florida woman is in trouble with authorities after making a fake bomb threat at her company which prompted the evacuation of 300 employees. She admits to making the threat in order to get a break at work.
According to NBC Miami, 43-year-old Latisha Vester was arrested last Wednesday after making the threat. She was booked into the Volusia County jail without bond.
Click Orlando reports that the threat was received at Metra Electonics in the city of Holly Hill. Authorities were called to the location that morning after human resources received a voicemail at around 9 a.m. saying that there was a bomb located somewhere on the property.
After police were notified, they arrived at the scene and were able to trace the call to Vester's cell phone.
UPI reports that in addition to being charged with making a false bomb threat, Vester was also wanted for an out-of-county warrant for larceny.
