Op-Ed: Two British YouTube wonders successfully taking over Hollywood

England's youngest entertainers find success in the United States, and on the way to being Hollywood's favorite little girls.

In October of 2011 the career of Sophia Grace, who raps to Nicki Minaj while her side kick cousin Rosie McCelland dances began in a video that went viral. When the Ellen Show saw 8-year-old Sophia and her 5-year-old cousin Rosie perform, Ellen wanted them on the show right away. Ellen had a surprise for the girls which Sophia couldn't contain her excitement about. Truly a natural in front of the camera, Sophia and Grace are a delight to any audience. Seeing Nicki Minaj was enough, but as the show continued it only got better. Sophia Grace and Rosie McClelland went on the the shopping spree thanks to Nicki Minaj who picked up the tab.. The girls shopping spree will trigger the fond memories and joys of being in a toy store as a child. The only difference with them is there didn't seem to be a limit on how much they bought, so they did like any kids would do. Got what they wanted! Sophia Grace and Rosie returned to the States for a 2nd interview with Ellen. Sophia and Rosie performed the Academy Award winning song Rolling in the Deep' by Adele. Sophia and Rosie continued on the red carpet reporting for the Ellen Show at the 2011 American Music Awards interviewing the stars in their tutu's. Sophia knew all the stars and most of the stars knew who she was too. The next stop for the two little girls from Essex, England was the Grammy Awards reporting once again for the Ellen show. The stars will never walk by a child, what a great idea Ellen had and a wonderful change of pace in red carpet interviews. After the Grammy Awards Ellen surprises the girls once again, and Sophia not aware of what she said expresses her joy of the United States. Disneyland California could not have had a better advertisement than Sophia and Rosie as they return to the Ellen Show to tell about their experience.
