A custom-made, guitar-shaped urinal, the Guitar Pee by Billboard Brasil, specially designed to allow men to create electric guitar solos while they pee, has been introduced to bars in Sao Paulo, Brasil.
According to The Atlantic Cities, the urinal was conceived by an ad agency called Alap BBDO in collaboration with Cricket Design. It is a regular urinal that comes with an electric cord connected to an amp on the wall and a guitar fretboard looming over its top. Inside the urinal cup are tabs at the base of the strings that trigger different types of pre-recorded electric guitar samples when they are hit.
CNet speculates that the new invention may be added incentive for men to aim at the bowl, especially after long hours of soaking at the bar. And it may also be an incentive for imbibers who fancy themselves rock gods to drink even more at bars equipped with the Guitar Pee urinal.
Now all you need do to produce a virtuoso electric guitar solo is drink plenty of beer, rush to the urinal, take care to aim correctly, and unload. According to Time Techland, each time you hit one of the six strings while peeing, you get a pre-recorded guitar sample that is uploaded as an “MPEE3″ to the mobile version of the Guitar Pee site.
After you've finished peeing, flush and note down the code generated while you flush. Then visit Guitarpee on your mobile to listen to an online recording of your urinary masterpiece.
According to Billboard Brasil's tagline: "Music. We know it comes from everywhere."
CNet wants to know why there is no Guitar Pee for women and demands "equal opportunity for musical micturation," by suggesting a grand piano urinal combo or a bidet/cello that "plays selections from Bette Midler songs."
