Alexander Kinyua, a 21-year-old Morgan State University student, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after admitting to killing and eating portions of his room mate's heart and brain.
Portions of the victim's body were found in the basement by the suspect's family. When asked about it Kinyua told his brother they were animal remains. The family assumed something was wrong and called authorities to come and investigate. After searching the house, police discovered the victim's head and hands on the first floor of the home. The police then questioned Kinyua, who admitted to cannibalizing pieces of the victim's body and chopping it into pieces with a knife.
The victim, who has been identified as Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie had been missing for a week. The rest of his body was later discovered in a trash bin outside a neighborhood church after being directed to the location by the suspect.
This latest incident is the second cannibalistic attack to hit the news in just a few days after the attack in Miami where a homeless man's face was eaten.
Are these attacks a sign of the devil or the beginning of a zombie apocalypse?
