The signature song of American Idol winner Philip Philips entitled "Home" has ranked No.2 on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart with 278,000 downloads.
In Billboard's Hot 100 list, "Home" comes in at No.10 according to americanidolnet.com
Philip's "Home" is also No.4 in downloads for this year. Justin Bieber, Maroon 5 and Katy Perry were the top three in downloads for the year.
As Philips popularity soars with his hit song "Home", this season's runner-up Jessica Sanchez is having a New York City tour, dropping by "Live! With Kelly", where she talked about her days in American Idol and her future plans.
In her guesting, she did her version of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" a song that she was praised by fans for her flawless rendition.
The 16-year-old runner-up was also at he memorial day concert in Washington over the weekend to sing the National Anthem.
Meanwhile Philips was reported to have given his new car which he received from American Idol to his parents as gift. Phillips says he will continue using his 2001 Ford Ranger.
Philips is scheduled to undergo surgery this week for the removal of his kidney stone in Malibu, California.
