It doesn't matter that he still wears a diaper, throws tantrums like every other two year old.
Little Royce Gill is riding with the big boys!
In Upper Horton in western New South Wales, Australia on a 3,000 acre ranch lives the world's youngest cowboy. With 200 calves purely for bucking bulls and 300 horses for rodeos there won't be a shortage of livestock to practice with.
Little Royce Gill at the age of two and a half, still in diapers has become the seventh-generation rodeo rider in his family. Royce competed in his first competition against under 18's last week at the Beaudesert Rodeo,
Royce didn't get any prizes on his first go around, but his father Ryan Gill is happy about the rodeo competitiveness he believes his son has been born with, and he was happy to help him follow his passion. With seven barrel racing competitions in Charleville, Mount Isa, Chinchilla, Bundaberg, Maleny, Bowen and Cloncurry little Royce will get his chance to get better.
A photograph taken by Jamie Hansen bears an uncanny resemblance to the character Woody from the film Toy Story, of Royce standing next to his horse Maybelline.
