By Melissa Horrocks     May 29, 2012 in Technology
Augmented reality is the key to the future of this world. It could change the world completely and have a massive impact on businesses.
Augmented reality is the way of the future. People in the future will think that today's London looks drab and boring. Tomorrow's London could look completely different, thanks to augmented reality. Wherever people travel, a whole new experience awaits them.
Advertising could take on a whole new meaning. Billboards, advertising spots, signs, shops and even graffiti will look different. The combination of computer technology merged with reality is the way forward. Graphic designers will be able to design artwork on the computer and place it on buildings, all over the world.
Augmented reality, also known abbreviated as, (AR), is where digital technology and graphics confront the real world. In a sense, it is what sci-fi lovers have only dreamed of for years. Today, it is a reality. However, we have only just started to explore this new technology. In the next few years, it could expand and grow beyond our wildest dreams.
Pick Advice suggests that this technology will completely change the world around us. There are going to be new applications that come forward for AR. This technology will change the way we see, hear and interact with the world. In the future, we may even be able to touch computer images and interact with them physically. We could respond with technology in a spiritual, mental and physical manner.
Wikitude World Browser allows a person to experience their surroundings differently. By holding up a person's Smart Phone, they can explore the world around them. A user can see places, points of interest and other interesting information.
It is interesting to consider what the future may hold for AR. There are many ways this technology could be used. For businesses, it could be very profitable. For the health care profession, it will be easier for doctors to see potential problems. Operating will be easier for surgeons, with more precise surgical procedures. However, as with everything that is good, there are bound to be problems. Only the future knows what Augmented Reality holds in store.
