Captain Ray Lewis got out in the streets with the Occupy Wall Street movement and protested along side of them, in full police uniform. He did his best to bridge the gap between the OWS members and the NYPD.
However, he was arrested for his stance on the unnecessary brutality of the New York Police Department against the peaceful protesters.
Lewis is in danger of losing his union benefits for his views and actions in exercising his first amendment rights, and he explains in the video why this is happening.
He states that the main reason for the police to follow orders and brutality beat and pepper-spray peaceful protesters is that the police have the financial backing of the bankers and Wall Street itself.
A very interesting interview indeed.
