Two teenagers were arrested after police say the pair were targeted New Yorkers in a Brooklyn neighborhood, with blow darts.
Authorities said the two 15-year-old boys ended up wounding three people in random attacks that occurred over the weekend.
According to the New York Times, Arkadiy Shklyaver, 52, said he felt as if someone was hunting. Shklyaver was hit right in the stomach by one of the darts, which had tips that were 3-inches long. Shklyaver was struck with one of the darts around 7:15 p.m. on Sunday while on a Bensonhurst street corner.
According to NY1, another victim, Georgiy Ostrozhnyuk, said that he was hit in the leg and stomach while he was inside his car waiting. He said that he did not feel any pain at first but then after a few minutes he started to feel pain.
According to the New York Daily, Ming Chen, 40, was another victim who was shot in her leg and in the back. Police say that they initially charged a 15-year-old suspect with one count of assault. Investigators believe that the suspect shot the blow-darts from the window of an apartment. Police are also looking for another 15-year-old
Police are still looking for another 15-year-old who they want to question. Officers said that the victims do not know each other. Investigators did not immediately say what the teenagers' motive was.
