Teen singer Justin Bieber is doing the awards thing again, nominated this year for five 2012 Teen Choice Awards. The nominations were announced on Friday the 18th and Bieber has one fewer nomination than one TV show managed and is tied with another.

Teen Choice Awards is the TV show 'Vampire Diaries' with six, including best Fantasy/Sci-Fi 'and actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley for 'TV Actor in a Fantasy/Sci-Fi' series and Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham for 'TV Actress in a Fantasy/Sci-Fi'.
Like Bieber , the show' American Idol' is also up for five awards but the Canadian pop singer is the human with the most nominations, his 5 including 'Male Artist' and two categories that have little to do with music, 'Choice Male Fashion Icon' (up against Cee Lo Green, Justin Timberlake, among others) and 'Choice Male Hottie'. The 'Choice Female Hottie' nominations include his girlfriend Selena Gomez up against Katy Perry, Rihanna, Kate Upton and Miley Cyrus.
Bieber and Teen Music Awards
Given the Teen Choice Awards cater to teens, more specifically teenage girls, the awards have developed categories not seen on other awards night. The 18-year-old Bieber won 'Best Artist' and "Hottie' category
in 2011 and was nominated but didn't win the 'Fashion Icon' award. Over the past two years Bieber has won 8 Teen Choice Awards.
This year the Teen Choice Awards will be held on July 22 and if you're 13-19 years-old you can vote at the Teen Choice Awards
website; leading up to the awards night, teens get one vote each and every day in each and every category. If you're not a teen - you can't vote.
