A man in Rochester, New York has been sentenced to probation after he was found guilty of selling fake Viagra and Cialis tablets.
Curtis Henry, 53, admitted to buying around 7,000 fake Viagra and Cialis pills and then reselling them. He bought the pills from China, and as a result he ended up receiving 3 years on probation.
On Wednesday federal prosecutors said that Curtis will also have to pay restitution. According to the
Wall Street Journal, Curtis will have to pay $13,000 in restitution.
According to
CNY Central, back in November is when Curtis entered a guilty plead to attempting to import pharmaceuticals that were counterfeit.
According to the
Democrat and Chronicle, Bradley E. Tyler, the assistant U.S. Attorney, handled the case. Tyler said that Curtis ordered the pills between January and June 2011.
Tyler said that once Curtis got the pills he sold them in the Rochester area.
