A 67-year-old man died while receiving a lap dance at a strip club. The man, Robert Gene White, from El Paso County, Texas, was at the Red Parrot Strip Club on Friday night.
MSN reports that a manager at the Red Parrot said that White was "face-deep in pelvic gyrations" all night, but when it came to paying for service he was unresponsive.
Employees tried to perform CPR on him but when it failed they called emergency. He was rushed to Del Sol Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Hospital officials said he died of "natural causes."
The Christian Post reports that Chris Acosta, spokeswoman for the El Paso County Sheriff's office, said the police were investigating the incident. While she gave no details about the "natural causes" of his death, The Christian Post speculates that it appears White suffered a heart attack while receiving a lap dance but the fact went unnoticed until the end of the night when the girl who gave him service went to him and asked him to pay.
The Inquistr reports that while police say investigations are still ongoing, El Paso Sheriff's deputies say there were no signs of foul play.
According to The Christian Post, the heart attack probably occurred before 11:30 pm.
Silent heart attacks are not uncommon but frequently go unnoticed. About 200,000 people in the U.S. are affected every year, The Christian Post reports.
MyFoxdfw.com says it hopes White died a happy man.
