A man in Richmond, Virginia, decided that he was going to lose a bunch of weight so he could ride one of his favorite amusement park rides.
Many people lose weight in order to trim down their waist line, while others try to lose weight because they are trying to be healthier. Nat Ambrose decided to shed some pounds so he could ride 'The Volcano' at an amusement park.
According to WSLS, Ambrose made a trip to Kings Dominion last June. He attempted to ride 'The Volcano' but he was turned away because the safety harness would not fit him. Ambrose weighed around 300 pounds back then.
According to CBS, Ambrose said that the moment was a life-defining moment. He said that he decided he wanted to feel better about himself and be in better shape. Ambrose went onto say that he also realized that his health was going in the wrong direction.
Ambrose ended up losing a little over 100 pounds. This means that he will get the chance to go back to the amusement park and ride 'The Volcano'.
