Chicago - Thousands of people gathered on a cool, misty Saturday morning along Chicago's lakefront in support of Walk Now for Autism Speaks.
The annual 3-mile walk raises awareness and funds for autism research. Many participants were motivated by personal experience and recent news that one in 88 American children will be diagnosed with autism.(www.cdc.gov) Stepping off from historic Soldier Field, (NEED a link here for SF) the throng headed north along Lake Shore Drive before returning to the stadium for post-walk activities.
