Grammy-winning hip-hop star Chris Brown may have finally used up the last of his nine lives with ex-girlfriend Rihanna after he released a track allegedly calling her promiscuous.
Billboard Magazine says it all started on Thursday morning (May 10), when the pop star posted a freestyle version of Kanye West's "Way Too Cold," on his Twitter feed.
During the rap an interesting line about an unnamed ex-girlfriend came up.
"The lines in question: "Don't f--k with my old bitch it's like a bad fur/ Every industry n---- done had her/ Shook the tree like a pumpkin just to smash her/ Bitch is breaking codes, but I'm the password."Brown boasts.
Rihanna wasn't impressed.
She took her frustrations to Twitter.
"Aw, poor dat #neaux1currrrr," she posted. And apparently unfollowed her "Birthday Cake" collaborator.
Making sure to have the last word, Brown took to Twitter to respond.
@chrisbrown "Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about."
He apparently didn't realize that he outed himself. As Rihanna "didn't say any names," either, so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about."
According to MTV, It was all good just a week ago...when Rih wished him happy birthday via Twitter. That, plus their fairly recently collaborations on "Cake (remix)" and "Turn Up The Music (remix)." What could've gone wrong since then?
