Prague - One of less well-known events to take place along the streets of Prague is the city's annual zombie fest. For this event hundreds of people walk the streets as 'the undead'.
For the fifth year running the historic streets of Prague have been awash with Zombies, or at least zombie aficionados dressed and painted to look like cast-offs from 'The Walking Dead' or from a George A. Romero movie.
For this year's event several hundred people took part (Radio Prague reports 762 participants). The zombie look-a-likes were drawn from across the Czech republic and from throughout Europe. The most popular look was white face pain, mock scars, and a splattering of fake blood.
As the zombies lurched down the cobbled streets they were followed by a crowd of local residents and tourists. The organized event took place on Saturday May 5 for two-and-half hours in the afternoon.
